Tells all the secrets we know of, but here are some more preview highlights:

A permanent residence permit can be obtained without charge by merely registering as a “do it yourself’ project. But for dealing with “authority”, in Campione or anywhere else, especially where the language is foreign to your native tongue, Grandpa recommends (free of charge to readers of his Campione Report) a personally vetted, tried and tested, a reliable local person who speaks English. Ask Grandpa for the referral.

Your competent local contact will meet you in Campione, and “show you the ropes.” He (or she) will help you select a rental or purchase a suitable property. He will help you avoid pitfalls. A specially negotiated fee of about CHF1000 for this local contact is available for The Campione Report (registered buyers only). The normal hourly charges for these services would be much higher. Also, it is always hard to find someone reliable, honest, and intelligent who speaks your language!

At no extra cost, your Campione contact will help you obtain a Swiss listed telephone, Swiss driving license, inexpensive Swiss license plates on your car. For CHF 50 per year, as a resident, you can get a windshield parking sticker so that you don’t need to feed coins to the ubiquitous parking meters. You can park anywhere in Campione for free.

How to Get Legal Residence in

the Tax Haven of Campione

(Update: Due to the bankruptcy of the Casino in 2018,  as of January 1st, 2020, Campione's residents will be paying VAT)

How to get the equivalent of an Italian/Swiss passport for visa-free travel in the EU for the price of a rented apartment! The Campione resident’s card also makes it easy (almost automatic) to get visas for any other places that Italian or Swiss passport holders could go.
Being a Campione D’Italia resident opens the door for confidential Swiss and Liechtenstein banking plus working in or owning a business in the EU or Switzerland.

Quick Summary Campione d'Italia is a unique semi-autonomous Swiss enclave or Italian exclave to be more correct. Located entirely within Switzerland yet separate from Switzerland, Campione is not subject to Swiss laws, Swiss taxes, or Swiss tax treaties. It also escapes the most burdensome rules and taxes of Italy.

Campione a strange accident of history, geographic anomaly, and climatic freak that will continue to be useful as a low profile, safe residence, and tax haven in the coming decade. In this extended report, you will learn about the cost of living, tax matters, residency, or investment opportunities.

Reviews and Ratings of W.G. Hills previous works

I'm a fan / collector of W.G. Hill's work, as & when reasonably-priced 'very good' or 'like new' turn up. It was under those circumstances that I bought this one....

Usually, Hill has a particularly angry writing style. In 'Banking Silence' for example, his utter contempt for Big Brother leaps at you off the page and shouts at you. In this Report however, his style is altogether more sedate and relaxed. 'Channel Islands' was quite matter-of-fact, but this one kinda shows that the old rascal is absolutely in love with the place.

Campoine was, at the time of writing, hardly known. Here we are in 2014 and it seems that not much has changed! I'm not going to give you any details as I'd like it to stay that way, but I can't wait to get out there and sample it all. This Report might be 20+ years old, but it's still relevant and hasn't dated anything like other W.G. Hill Reports in my possession.

Every so often you buy a book that really inspires you and gives you a new direction; this, for me, is one of those books. I've got something to aim for now. I haven't been there in person yet (I've only just bought / read the thing, gimme a chance!) but from what the Internet shows me, it's got a lot going for it. Thank you, Dr Hill.

By the way - this IS a genuine review. I'm NOT Hill, I don't know him, and if there's any doubt to my authenticity please read my other reviews or ask me a question!
